Location was great

One of the staff was very rude and they don't collect the fee through the credit card online so make sure you have cash on you, something that I didn't know :( Also the restaurant in front of the hotel is amazing, go for it

COMFORT AND HOMELY

The Staff were super FRIENDLY, Oh Riad is an amazing person and then the Old man (can't remember his name) who coordinates Breakfast made us feel so comfortable all the time. Overall it was a FANTASTIC STAY AT HOTEL CAVALIER! Will highly recommend, such a homely feel.

What I think can be better will be having variety of breakfast options for each day, we had the same buffet options for the whole 9 days of stay, got tired at some point.

Every things was perfect especially the stuff was amazing and the leader manager Mr Bashar I really advise to stay in this property And I would love to come again every things is close to you even you can go any places by walk ️???? Big respect

The hotel location is great and the staff is so friendly, electricity has no cut offs.

The room TV is so old and the bathrooms doesn’t have “شطافة”. Air conditioner can’t be set up

It was very nice and everyone was very helpful

The hotel staff was very helpful with everything. And they had ready made day trips to pick from that helped with where we should go everyday. Also the hotel receptionist was very helpful with every question we had and never left us clueless.

The hotel room didn't have toiletries ie, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tooth brush, tooth paste, and thread kit

Convenient / comfortable Stay!

Excellent location; close by to everything. Room was clean & bed was extremely comfortable. It’s just very convenient for a couple days stay if you want something very central in Hamra. Very vintage, European kind of feel which is kind of cool.

Honestly, $75 a night is quite pricey for what it is. I’ve stayed in places more modern and with a bit better upkeep for less. I think the range should be $50 max. I took the King Deluxe room which is meant to be the biggest room and it wasn’t big at all. Room smelled a bit musty & the AC kept switching off during the night on its own. Sink clogged first night but quickly and swiftly fixed so that’s fine. It’s just everything feels very very old in the rooms and the hotel in general. They all are functional and clean but it wouldn’t hurt to upgrade few things (like the showerhead for example had low pressure + chairs on the balcony are extremely uncomfortable). Newer Curtains, bed covers etc. You just feel nothing has been changed / touched in decades. Simple touches would make a huge difference! Also the staff was ok but they felt super jaded - ie: zero energy + life.

The staff, very helpful. Specially Mr. Nadim. Confortable bed and pillow. Big bathroom. Good wifi.

Nothing. The only problem was that there is a bar just in front of the hotel with loud music until 01:00 am on Saturday night, and you can hear it even with the sound proof double glasses. This only happens on Saturdays.

Location is great for going out in Hamra street! I can really recommend this hotel in every aspect. The cost-benefit Ratio is more than fair for Beirut.

The interior has already seen better times but this is really nagging on a very high Level.

Comfortable, friendly atmoshere.

The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony was a nice added touch where we enjoyed sitting and snacking and watching the world go by. The breakfast was good and dining staff very helpful.

Very basic hotel. Basic and poor breakfast. Rude staff.

The rooms are quiet and they made sure you don't get to hear the noise from the street by installing double doors on the balcony. Also there are black-out shades. The beds are comfortable and if the only thing you are after is a good night's sleep and a hot shower then you can get it here.

The staff was rude. We got there late at night and they gave us the wrong room. We returned to the reception to get another room and the receptionist was pissed and angry and he made us feel very bad. When I asked him he said that he was mad with the morning shift because they booked the wrong room for us. Maybe it was true, but the customers should not have to know that. The only person who genuinely smiled to us was the cleaning lady! When we left they didn't even say good bye! So rude!! The breakfast is very basic. The bread rolls were served frozen (even if you heated them in the toaster oven, the inside was still a frozen mass). The are are very few options if you are after protein (meat or cheese) and there are no traditional foods available, like humus or olives. The breakfast pictures are the ones that drew me to this hotel so don't let them fool you too!

Me and my wife spent there seven nights and we were really satisfied with everything.

Ecxellent location. Just in the heart of Hamra. Due to double sliding doors on the balcony, the room was very quiet.

Discotheque on opposite building on Friday night, even double sliding doors couldn’t protect noise coming in.

Decent

They were very kind in offering us a birthday package for my colleague's birthday at a decent price on my request. The room had huge windows that you can open and a balcony which gave the room very good lighting. Housekeeping did a good job, the room was clean. The wi-fi was ok, not great, but enough for some light work.

Expect more of a 3 stars experience than a 4 stars, considering the decor of room. We had to get two invoices because the hotel charged the first night before we arrived there, even though it say the payment is made at the reception so we shouldn't have been charged in advance.
